commerce.com has ovt w/ ext of 1331. Most of these people are probably looking for commerceonline.com or commercebank.com. As neither of these banks has purchased the .com version, I don't know how much interest they would have in the .mobi, but it should still have (lots of) traffic if .mobi catches on.

If a name like "commerce" is no good, then that tld is doomed.

I think it is a good name, i think that ecommerce would have been better because it is more related to the system - the Internet.

commerce.com sold for $180,000 in late 2004

commerce.mobi will command a very nice payday

simply b/c ecommerce is a type/subset of commerce
commerce is more encompassing

for example,

I absolutely agree - commerce.mobi is really a bad name. In fact, you can see that the .com is not doing too well -- but since we're entering the holidays, I'm feeling mightly charitable -- and I will relieve you of this really bad domain for a pretty fair price. Now how's that for the holiday spirit? How fair? Well, since it's such a bad domain -- in reality, you can name your own price! Of course, you know it --

if you are looking to sell, i would submit it for the upcoming t.r.a.f.f.i.c. event in march 2007.

just set the reserve as the lowest $ you are willing to make than hope for the best! i am guessing you can get high $,$$$ to med $$,$$$

I'd like to say that I've listed this name on Sedo (last week) and I've already received a 5K offer (min offer I set). What do you suggest?

I'm a developer so I'm not in a hurry, I can develop it and wait for an end user.

just for fun:
- with commerce.mobi I could create e.commerce.mobi
- with ecommerce.mobi one should create e-.ecommerce.mobi to obtain commerce.mobi!

My advice - hang onto this domain -- it will be going up in value. I imagine you can get at least $20 K without problems. I can't believe this name wasn't reserved on the "premium list" -- congratulations!

Nice first post. You have no idea what you're talking about. This is a great name. I'd hold out for the traffic auction too unless the seller needs the money now.
