| Account Closed | PHONIFIER for Mobile Internet I actually posted this before but it got no reactions. Now that the Opera Mini debate is on I thought I,d post this again. Phonifier is opensource and it's free and converts any website to easily viewable pages for mobile phones. I tried it and it works wonderfully well. http://phonifier.com/faq.php Here's the link from where you can use it as a proxy right now. http://www.phonifier.com/ If you like it you can download the Free version for your mobile from the first link. Give some feedback and impressions here if you tried it.(Positive or Negative) Last edited by binaryman; 11-12-2006 at 07:21 AM. |

| NamePros Regular | I finally get it binaryman...you've been right all along in your skepticism about the future of .mobi...It does feel like it's just all hype and the whole thing will fizzle down to nothing in just a few weeks. Too bad, we dumped all this money into this thing...we could have instead invested in the KING (.com)...too late now... |

| Account Closed | Oh I dont know Binfus. I still hold out hope for .Mobi to become extremely popular somehow. Ps. So did you try this Phonifier thingy? I,m not so impressed anymore. It strips a lot of sites down to bare-bones. It actually makes my belief stronger that .Mobi is the answer for satisfying mobile content. Read this following blog http://chautauquas.blogspot.com/2005...phonifier.html Phonifier gets discussed and the consencus is that it is not the answer at all. My belief is that what is needed is indeed .Mobi. Last edited by binaryman; 11-13-2006 at 12:20 AM. |
