I was searching .mobi domains related to "MP3" and found that following domains were unavailable

MP3downloads (Premium)
MP3download
MP3planet
MP3world
MP3files
FreeMP3
DownloadMP3

I just picked
mp3clips.mobi yesterday.

Surprised to see it was unregistered till now.

mp3clips.mobi maybe not too much good name, "mp3" related to music, "Clip" related to video. I don't see any relationship between 2 words.

I would try to use some keywords. The following dotmobi's were still available (as of Nov 4 20:47 US EST):

ShopMP3s.mobi
ShopMP3.mobi

Clip is just an item. It doesn't mean video.. However alot assume clip means a preview. Like a clip of a video is a preview. A clip of a MP3 is a preview.

Nice grabs, hold onto them and in time they may be worth a good amount

Thanks for the question about relationship between the words "MP3" and "clips", it made me to research about that.

On reference, I found that

MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3) is a popular digital audio encoding and lossy compression format, designed to greatly reduce the amount of data required to represent audio.

A media clip is a short segment of media either an audio clip or a video clip. Media clips are promotional in nature, for instance news clips or movie clips. Though it is more relevant to videos/movies, it can also include productions such as audio clips (sound effect).

As you may be aware there are lot of sites offering audio/sound clips in MP3 format. Some sites are in the process of migrating sound files from WAV to MP3 format. The primary reasons for this is to allow for faster download times (for example see: www.wavcentral.com).

Looking forward for some more feedback.
