   | this mobi okie someone register starbuck.com, org, etc.. and didn't register .mobi, so I got starbuck.mobi, just wonder will this worth anything? It's resemble to starbucks real website (e.g. starbucks.com). I was hoping starbuck.mobi will point some traffic to my real website because maybe someone will mistype in as starbuck.mobi instead of starbucks.mobi? But I rarely seeing anyone use .mobi yet. |

 | Probably a bad idea. Perhaps you could build a site about how many bucks the movie stars have but it still would be a lame attempt to cover a trademark violation. Starbucks can probably take it from you any time they want. Check out the Spice Girl thread: http://www.namepros.com/dot-mobi/254...our-ideas.html Note that Spice girl has other meaning than the band, it would be hard to argue a different meaning for starbuck. But it is about useage, mostly. Any site the name points to better be a long way from coffee. Beware parking it at sedo or similar sites because they may show visitors coffee ads which would hurt your position.

| starbuck.com don't seem to be own by real starbucks corporation. So I guess if they want to go after they already go after starbuck.com, org, net, info, etc.. before they go for mobile. I just wonder why such a big company don't buy up those resemble domain names as their brand name. Though their brand name is starbucks (e.g. with s as plural). |
