External Auction Forum Rules

SELLER RULES

1.) You may not exceed the active thread limit for your account level.
2.) Only one "bump" is allowed every 24 hours. If you would like to bump your thread to the top shortly before the auction ends, please plan your thread start time/bump times accordingly. Threads that bump in less than 24 hours are unfair to other members and will be deleted.
3.) Post the actual domain name(s) you are selling in your thread.
4.) You may link to the external auction platform/specific auction. This link must be the link provided to you by the auction platform. Please do not try to hide or cloak the link.
5.) Any post containing any adult or adult language names will be deleted. Please use the appropriate forum - http://www.namepros.com/adult-domains-for-sale/
6.) Consolidate simultaneous domain auctions into one (1) Sales thread for convenience and courtesy. The continued growth of our community makes this necessary to keep things running smoothly for EVERYONE.

NOTE: Member comments in sales threads will not be tolerated. Clarifications can be done via pm.

The same basic rules of the Fixed-Price/Offers sections apply to Auctions, with the following specific additions only need for auctions (see down below).

SELLER RULES

1. Membership Posting limits

• Free Members up to 2 active Marketplace threads at a time
• Supporters up to 4 active Marketplace threads at a time
• Business Members up to 6 active Marketplace threads at a time

An "active" thread is defined as any marketplace sales thread that you wish to keep open and visible to marketplace visitors. You can keep your thread active by adding a reply yourself before the 30 day period. UPGRADE YOUR ACCOUNT

2. All listings in US$. For NP$ sales/auctions please use this section: http://www.namepros.com/namebucks-np...-and-auctions/

3. Please list registrar and expiration date for ALL domains posted for sale.

4. Links to screen shots of Traffic and/or Revenue must be provide if you are claiming either with regard to ANY name in your sale.

5. NO PayPal fees may be charged to buyers! Per PayPal's TOS,

9. No "see my sig" posts

12. No Cross posting no copying/partial copying of sales between the sales forums.

14. Fixed Price / Buy-It-Now - If an item is offered with a fixed sales price, the terms of the offer will assumed valid for seven days following the thread starter's most recent post in the thread, unless specified otherwise by the thread starter.

15. NO hidden fees of any type, transfers (etc.) Please make it clear if any special conditions or charges are necessary due to registrar policies.

BUYER RULES

1. No Comments in Sales threads. Clarifications can be done via pm.

2. Do not make offers in the thread unless seller invites offers.

3. If you post SOLD for any name in any thread, it is considered binding.

4. Names being bid on or bought that are not clearly posted in full or bids that do not contain
proper dollar amounts could be removed and considered invalid.

Infraction points could be awarded or sales voided at the discretion of the moderators as required to ensure smooth functioning of the marketplace.


Rules Specific to the Auction Forum

The following must be included with all auctions:

Domain Name
Domain name registrar
Domain name renewal date
Starting bid
Bidding Increments
A clear end date and time for the auction (ex: 1/01/01 at 1pm pst, or "48 hours after a final bid is placed")
Payment options (Ex: paypal, moneybookers etc)

As per general marketplace rules, when claiming traffic or revenue, proof is required (ex: screen shots)

1. Reserve price auctions are not permitted. All auctions must start at the lowest amount you are willing to accept for the domain name.

2. Once an auction is posted you may reserve the right to end, or change your auction at any time... until a bid is placed. At that time, you are obligated to follow through with the auction "as is". Nothing can be added, or changed once a bid is placed.

3. It is ok to use a BIN (buy it now) price, but BIN prices must be included at the start of the auction, before a first bid is placed. Once a bid is placed, BIN prices cannot be added, changed, or removed.

4. Multi-forum, or multi-venue auctions are not permitted. When you post an auction, it must be an exclusive listing while posted here.

5. All bids must be recived in the auction thread. Private bids, or bids via Pm are not valid bids.

Bidders

Please only post a bid if you are 100% certain that you can follow through if you win. Bid retractions are not permitted.

Please observe each sellers terms before placing your bids to make sure you qualify to bid.
