I put the search terms "article search" and "computer system" in each respective search engine mentioned above and then I copied the exact figures to my original post, so they cannot be off.

You probably didn't put the search terms in quotes then. Because in quotes, "article search" yields 1,570,000 not 333,000,000 in Google. "computer system" yields 9,570,000. If you don't use quotes around the set of words in the search engine, you're picking up all occurances of each individual word as well as the combo.
