![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Nice but..... Godaddy have a excellent customer service's and thier prices are great. The only thing that lets go daddy down is the amount of advertising of products they try to sell you when buying a domain name. This can sometimes become annoying. But then saying that you can save alot of money by purchasing domains from GoDaddy! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Decent regaistar It's a nice registar where I store up all my development names due to that it's bigger and the first registar i used. Overall it's not to bad, but not close to exellent. The features and pretty good, but it's not very user firendly at all ~ I often get slow replies so the costermer service isn't great either and the prices aren't bad, but I have seen better (and worse). All in all a very decent registar ![]() Petter |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Review Their price is their most attractive benefit: already they're just about 6-figures away from overtaking NetSol with the most number of domains registered. However, they don't offer toll-free phone support, a helpful benefit for beginners. 2 other things many people might not know: 1. They take a strong anti-spam stance whether the domain is using their DNS or not. If they don't get a response from the domain registrant and/or contacts regarding a spam complaint within a certain time frame, the domain gets shut down. 2. They have at least 2 charges not mentioned explicitly in their legal fine prints for 2 occasions, although they did say what they're for: a) not fully complying with their WHOIS problem reports after a time frame, and b) regarding legal inquiries, especially a UDRP, although one of them said they'll refund if the registrant wins. Charge low for domains, but charge unknowingly for certain things to compensate, I guess. Incidentally there's a thread by someone claiming someone from GD stole his domains, although it's in another forum. I invited the guy to post it here.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Review Has easy to use control panel but very, very slow domain ownership transfer. Too many ads on the page, you get lost in the process. Slow customer service.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Popular, but sometimes difficult Prices are fair, but the cluttered interface is hard to navigate and takes too many clicks. You can't do anything quickly on their site. Registrant transfers are one of the most complicated there are. Policies on transfer limitations go beyond that of ICANN rules, in that registrar tranasfers can't be done within 60 days of a registrant change.

![]() ![]() | Overall - Superb Registrar! Their Support is 1 thumb up! 2 things I dont like are 1) You pass to so many ads before you add the domain to your cart. this sometimes makes the whole process absurd. 2) Their webhosting isnt user friendly. They dont have CPanel installed!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My 'fav' so far GoDaddy has security issues, I will be one of the first to admit that. However, I do not view them as any worse than those of any other registrar, but due to the high # of new users at GoDaddy, there tend to be more occurences of theft there as the users on a whole are not as adept. That being said, I know advanced users that have had security issues as well. Smart policies for any registrar would be to routinely check your domains, use unique passwords, and keep evidence of ownership (And your whois records complete and accurate). But back to GoDaddy in particular. 1) Prices: spot on. 2) Service: While not a 1-800 number, long distance is cheap these days. What is not acceptable is some of their CS reps know nothing about the technical side. I routinely have to call twice to get a specific question resolved. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-registrar-reviews/83569-godaddy.html 3) Features: They have plenty, probably too many actually that they try to push on you. But I can skip them with ease. 4) Easy to use, and free transfers and free pushes. Can't beat it. Overall: Very pleased.

![]() ![]() | Godaddy is starting to suffer from own success I had been with Godaddy for 3 years before I finally had enough with their poor customer service. I spent 3 days, 3 phone calls and numerous emails trying to resolve a serious problem regarding my bank account with them and all I recieved were a bunch of passing-the-buck responeses. No problem. There are plenty of other registries willing to support their poducts! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The Best Value in Domain Names I have over 430 names with GoDaddy so I have an account rep to work with when I want a bulk discount on renewals and other VIP stuff, so my review may be a bit biased. GoDaddy's infrastructure isn't as good as eNom or even DD24 but it's a trade off, IMO. They offer the some of the best prices for domain names so you can't expect them to be perfect all around. I've had some problems in the past, but my account rep was always there for me and he was able to fix all my problems (see my domain blog for details.) In summary, GoDaddy can easily dominate the domain registration industry for a long time if they get their system as intuitive and reliable as eNom. AmCy

![]() ![]() | Excellent company - bad advertising, though Gerat prices and good service. Never had a problem with them to date. Only hting is that I wish they would allow you to search for your domains in your account instead of having to look for them page by page. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=83569 (Also, they should stop their terrible advertising campaigns, get rid of the Bob PArson's blog, and stop Bob from potentially reuining the company's reputation his "little boy just became rich" attitude). Other than this, I have no compaints withthis company at all! I really like the new changes to their cart that allows you to skip all the ads for the useless services they provide like trafficBlazer. Shopping with them now is hassel free if you want it to be. Many folks here say that the shopping cart is full of ads but you can check the "I am experienced" option so no ads will show in checkout and it makes it faster just like any other shopping cart at any other registrar. Oh well, when you don;t know how to read, you cannot expect things to go smoothly.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I like them but they are not my favourite. The transfer system is overkill IMO. I wish you could just push. The ads no longer bother me because I have the site committed to memory and I know where to click to get to the check-out ASAP. ST

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I like them best... so far! : ) Thus far, I've never had any trouble with GoDaddy. I've accounts with a few reg sites and despite the (multitude of) ads GoDaddy has proven easiest to work with. EDIT: They should offer an opt out feature when it comes to those ads!! If I didn't say "yes" the first 50 times, it's highly unlikely I'm going to say "yes" the 51st time!
