I am only experienced with Godaddy and have had no problems with them. Their prices are very reasonable and their site is user friendly. Best of luck to you.

Depends on what r ur considerations. They all have their strengths. Which country r u from? Some of them r strong in certain country codes, hope this will help u to consider. IP Mirror has their own b2c site, it may not be good to u as a reseller, u wouldn't know whether they'll steal away ur customers since they hav access to ur data. For the rest, if u compare, i think webnic has the best price to start off.

try name.com. they provide free private whois for your domains, which usually you have to shell another $4 to turn that feature on. great value!

I use Dynadot mostly.
OpenSRS has a very good API if you need automation.
Forced to use GoDaddy when buying domain out of eBay mostly, but I really don't like their UI... cluttered and incredibly frustrating
Also use Moniker for exotic ccTLDs....

Eventually all domains are registered with the Registry - and domain sellers (me included) are just facilitator between you and the registry. A .com can be bought anywhere from $1.99 to $35 and beyond even though the domain name itself is not such an expensive commodity, it's the goodies you are showered with (@$35 ) that really are not necessary but often guide folks to fall for registrars who charge more than required!!!
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-registrar-reviews/595895-domain-registration-company-shall-i-consider.html

In the end, before you select one, satisfy yourself with
a. Are the domains reasonably priced?
b. Are you paying for stuff that you really dn't need (like free domain privacy - there are millions of site running without it without any issues)
c. Are the domains registered in your name?
d. Do you have total DNS control (we provide that for free)
e. Do you get anything else apart from domain name at a reasonable price?
f. History of the registrar - any feedback on the net about good or bad practices they have been accused of?

Thx

If you want to resell your names I would use Godaddy. Most people have accounts at Godaddy for this reason. If you want to develop your domains long term use Moniker.

I also agree that dynadot is the best. The best user experience BY FAR, especially over GoDaddy's awful ad-ridden cluttered interface. Dynadot is a joy to use. Simple and clean. And all your domain changes happen very fast. Worth the buck or two extra you might pay for the domains.

You may consider 2 registrars. Either name.com or resellerclub.com. Both the registrars are having a good reputation in the market. Moreover, both have their own features including the similar feature of providing a free whois privacy protection.
As far as the price is concern, I have seen they pretty cheap in compare to other registrars like godaddy, moiker, dynadots etc....
