Internet.bs

Internet.bs is the best registrar I have ever used. The bulk tools are amazing. The pricing is amazing. The speed of the interface is amazing. I highly recommend it. The only thing they could improve is the bulk search feature which is a bit clumsy if you like to search and register in bulk.

When I go to that site, I get redirected to internetbs.net, but it seems to be the same thing. However, someone told me that they are seeing different prices than I am. What I see is $6.95 for a .com (5 cents cheaper if you transfer). Is someone seeing something different than that?

How is their DNS hosting?

Any other comments on their bulk editing tools?

I get redirected also,
That link is showing $7.23 for a .com for me, that is in Canadian Funds it seems,
- when I click the flags it shows the different currency prices

Ah, yes, I see that, too. So they list their prices for you in CAD because you're in Canada apparently. The $6.95 price is in USD. Thanks.

Still looking for comments on their bulk tools and especially their DNS hosting... anyone?

I went ahead and tried them out with one of my domains. Everything seems fine. I don't have the needs of a domainer, but for my needs, their services seem fine and their interface is decent, usable and not overloaded with junk like GoDaddy and their ilk.

The one standout thing I found was playing with their DNS settings, it took literally less than 30 seconds for each change I made to propagate. That might just be a geographical coincidence, but I've never seen such responsive DNS before.

The one thing I noticed was when I went to the domain renew screen, the price listed for a .com was $7.99 and not their "sale" price of $6.95. On their front page, the $7.99 is crossed out, so I'm not sure if renewals are indeed $7.99 or not. If so, it looks like domainmonster.com is cheaper (if you have enough domains), since their prices don't seem to differ between new/renewal/transfers. Or, internet.bs says they'll match a better price, so maybe I'll run that by them before I transfer away from them next year.

I signed up for their free account but have not used them yet as a registrar. It looks like a prepayment is necessary as listed (minimum USD 65, EUR 50, GBP 35, JPY 7500, CAD 75, AUD 85) to be able to purchase any services.

After trying them out with a single domain, I was happy and decided to move all my domains to them. Their bulk domain management is far superior (and faster) yet still simple and straight-forward compared to 1and1, who was my last registrar.

Like CrazyPenguin, I noticed that it seemed like you had to pre-pay money into your account before you could do anything, but that's NOT the only option (it's probably the one they like the best, since you could have unspent money sitting in their hands if you do it that way). They also let you pay normally - for each domain you buy or transfer - they present you with an invoice that you can pay with a credit card or paypal transfer.

So overall, I'm very happy with them, and I have namepros.com to thank for that, cuz I never would have found them on my own.

Renewal pricing still seems to cost more than their advertised prices, so we'll see if they really will price match next year....

Cheers!

Believe me it is the best registrar

Anyone can start a registrar and then have friends join namepros and post questions and answers to pump up the business. Smart marketing.

I find this confusing too. Does anyone know how to get the lower advertised price?

It looks like they just increased the pricing from 6.95 to $7.15 for registrations.

Renewals have also been raised to $8.15 for COM. It looks like I am going to be moving the hundreds of domains I transferred to Internet.bs. The $6.90 transfer pricing was nice while it lasted.
