Multiple Search Engine submitters: do they really work?
There are lots of free multiple SE submitters: which of them really work?
How do you usually submit your domains to search engines?
Which search engines you prefere?
submit them manlully for full effect from seacrch engins.
really you only need to submit to smn , google , hotbot ect.. (all the really big ones) to get on yahoo just submit to google (yahoo use googles database )
THE MOST IMPORTANT IS GOOGLE.
85% of seachers use google and also other search engins use google to really about 90 - 95% use google.
Offcourse some of them work, Im not sure exactly which but, as ed mentioned, its better submitting it manualy, this way you know you'll get added, almost. I would recommend you to google "addurl"., and you'll find alot of sites/search engines where you can submit your site. I baught a submit script ages ago, so i kinda use that when i submit sites myself.
A couple of years ago I used addme.com for adding to many search engines. It's easy enough to use, but you have to put a button on your homepage for doing so.
One of the Best and oldest Submission method is getting links from an existing Site. I have had Parked Newly Registered Domains (Only a Park Page) get listed on Google in a couple of days via that method.
I have had Content rich Optimised client sites take weeks via SEO Submissions
1 - So parking my domains with Fabulous i don't need to submit them to search engines?
------------They submit to some SE's for you, a nice "bonus" service.
2 - What's the difference between http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl
and
http;//www.google.com/addurl
-------------No difference that I can tell, two addies for the same thing
3 - What is the correct synthax to write my domain at
google.com/addurl ? (http://www?)
-------------Include the http://www.___________

one reaseon i have to admit for this is that in all my forums i call my self edmarriner so edmarriner.co.uk would have a little advantage. when advertiung allways stick to www.yoursite.com. dont do the same mistack as me!!!
I simply use alot of different search engines myself, google may be one of the first, but i know im not alone on the net. hhe.
Like in norway we have a search engine called "Eniro", can see the commercial everyday on tv, and that one is huge, in your opinion its "small".
Hmm. well, aslong as theres been done over a million searches everyday its large in my opinion.
Besides, $20 to get added manualy to google/yahoo and so on, sounds sweet, and not to mention getting listed right away, thats one of the reasons you pay ;0. And one of the bonus things are that they "verify that your page uses proper META Tags, title, description and keywords for best search engine placement". And thats kinda cute!
Well, thats what i think, i may try this service someday, if I do, i'll give you guy's feedback rightaway! ;-).
But offcourse, I do submit my sites to all the major search engines i can, but theres also some that only take payed submissions, thats the ones im not getting listed at.
Yeah i used one of those submitters a few years ago and it entered the wrong damn information... one time they even linked it back to their own site... just do it by hand... alot more successful
I have to admit whenever I tried to submit through the free multiple one's it never worked. Usually it didn't even submit me it just said page not found or something along those lines.
word.
I've almost always used free submitters, check the link popularity of www.evils0ft.net , and its pretty high, so I can ensure you that most'of them works. Just found out that even Microsoft offers Url submission. hehe. You'll find it out quickly if you recive a mail regarding submission to ExactSeek.com / scrubtheweb / alexa and such, all those sends out confirmation emails before submission.
I really LOVE the way EXACTSEEK handels url submission, you can get it to crawl your website every week if you want, and even change the info / keywords everytime . Which means, after you've submitted a url, you get a mail with a url to your "member" account, where you can view all your submissions to that engine, every url is there, aslong as you use the same mail account .
Submitting your site is not recommended for SEO. You PR will be damaged. You’ll be better off if you pay to be added in a PR6 or PR7 site. You’ll be listed in less than a week (if you get a PR7 within you could be listed in a few hours) and you PR will be higher. Just my 2 cents.
Dident quite get that, and besides, theres nothing called "pagerank" anymore :0. Google closed it down apperantly, it may get up again, but i havent heard anything about it yet.
