Worth of TLD

Hi all,

I was wondering what TLD is worth the most.

I know .com is the one to go for, but what about .org .net .tv .info .us?

Kind Regards,

Dirk.

I think the order of value generally goes like:

.com
.net
.org

I think it goes:
.Com
.Net
.Org
.Info
---
vV everything else Vv

Many factors contribute to the domain's value though, besides the extention:
-Length of the domain
-Availability of the domain + availability in other extensions
-Number of word(s) it has in it (considering it isn't "made up")
-Ranking/Traffic
-Etc

IMO it is impossible to value an extension because of the amount of factors involved.

Well, obviously it depends upon what domain you have...ie dog.net would be worth much more than coolwebhostingwithdesignwebsites.com. However, if you were to have one keyword in every single extension then .com would bring the most followed by .net, .org. and so on. There are exceptions to this rule, (such as an ISP or Org name) but IMHO they are few and far in between.

yes that is true crazytech, e.g. if we were to take a 3 letter domain in each extension....
