Buying a domain
Can anybody tell me some good places to buy a domain name? If they accept paypal, that would be even better.

it also really depends on what sort of domain you mean. Do you mean register a domain or buy one? They are two very different things....

Yeah as far as I know, GoDaddy doesn't use Paypal. But NameCheap does and it's always nice and easy to throw some paypal funds at your domain registrations.

Do you need to be paypal verified (have a credit card on file in paypal) in order to use either godaddy or namecheap?

Hey larky_starz
Out of all the domain name registration companies, I would suggest GoDaddy.com. They are the best I've seen. I'm currently in the process of registering one, as soon as I find an available domain name that I want. I belive that at the moment, domains through GoDaddy.com are $8.99 a yr. something close to it. They are the best out there. Check them out,
GoDaddy.com
Hope this helps.
And yes...they do accept PayPal.

I believe you do. But you can find all of that information on their website. Go
check them out.

Thank you for your help everyone. I have now registered a domain name with GoDaddy that i kinda like. Now I just need to get the .net version (waiting for a paypal payment to come through) and then I'll get the hosting set up.
I would like to start reselling domain names soon.

Yes they have both affiliate and reseller programs. Perhaps you should visit Godaddy's website again...
