How to find good domain names? Best Tools?

the only tool I really use is InstantDomainSearch.com - I just think of great domain names and search to see if they're available. Just keep trying different combos of words and sooner or later you'll find some good ones or dropped names.

One way to find good domain names is catching expired and pre-sale names. You can find them on auctions and preorders at Namejet or Godaddy and similar. If you don't have time or will to mine yourself through expiring lists of tens of thousands names every day (of which only a few % are good) you can check some blogs or threads on NP that picks best domains out. I write one such blog, Shane Cultra is also very good at this. Check it out.

Another good domain generator is Lean Domain Search.

DropDay and Freshdrop are providers of lists of dropping domains with searchable data on each domain.

I'm newbie, I selected domains are derived from the idea, read daily news + google addword tool free for example:

so hat do you think?

There's this thing called a phone book too. Has a special section called yellow pages. Naming ideas, and outbound all at once.

Don't want to pick up a book? You might even find YP online.
