What's BIN?
Hey,
I assume BIN stands for Bidding Identification Number? If not, what does it stand for? You should add this to the FAQ here IMO.
Thanks.

Buy It Now.
If you are prepared to pay the BIN price consider the name sold (provided you pay up, that is).

BIN = Buy It Now
This is the price at which the seller immediately stops the auction, and sells to the one who bid the BIN price.

It it also a good estimate of what the seller's reserve price is. Usually the reserve is within a certain percentage (below) the BIN price in my experience (not going to calculate the percentage right now, but i know how much when i see a bIN price

Bidding Identification Number?
Hm... sounds complicated, lucky no one developed such a system yet

BIN, as stated.. is the same as if you've ever used Ebay
It's a Buy it Now price, meaning bidding is over at that price, and it becomes an instant purchase.

In most live auctions they usually use a bidder identity number or code, although I've never heard it referred to as a BIN. Here, or at most of the online auction sites, its as described above BIN = "buy it now".
