| A domain name is a shortcut to get to an internet site. All internet sites are essentially a bunch of numbers. each number is assigned to a computer (server) your doamin allows people to type in a memorable name rather than typing in a string of numbers that thye have to write on the back of their hand.
If you find a good name that is not owned by any one, you can register it for yourself, and then post it for sale for more than you bought it. If the price is right and someone has a use for that name, you've just made a profit.
It depends on the domain name and the extension, but you could make anywhere from a loss to a good 4 or 5 figures. it depends on what names you find and what the demand for them are.
I just develop and make websites. for the the past several months (many, many months) I didn't even need to look at or deal with issues relating to domains as my work was for other people who had their domains.
You would have to make a website, and sell space on the website to earn money from advertising... It's harder than it sounds. |

| Well no you can have a parking program like www.domainhop.com and you can make money off of the ads that they serve when you park your domains. |

| Domain names: Buy low...sell high.
Sounds simple enough
Good-luck,

| It actually is, you just have to be patient. Something that I had to work on myself, but I'm getting better as time goes by. |

| Sure didn't. I'm certain that I'd probably qualify for the lowest amounts of initial funds ever spent on domains (considering I've never spent more than about $20 on a single domain). I've purchased domains for $10-$15 and been able to resell them at prices many times that. It's just a matter of knowing what to look for and of course a little luck.
I've even registered a few and made mid $xx of of them. |
