Google Adsense Keyword Tool

Probably going to sound like a real newbie here (well i am really ha) 3/4 days ago i was using the google adsense keyword tool and it came up with 200,000 exact searches for a particular 2 word combination. I go on today to check again as i am considering purchasing a website that is that 2 word combination, however it shows it only has 2,400 exact searches. Why is this? or was I dreaming?

I assume that on both instances that you used the "exact" drop down function for your search?.

If yes, then did you also check to see that the 200,000 & 2,400 were not local & global searches either?.

Done it many times when I was tired. Stay off the PC after 10:00 PM - that's my advice. I've wasted a dozen hand regs because I had "Broad" search results on.

It is good to also check for the demand trend because some keywords are seasonal.
