A few questions...

Howdy!

I was checking out the new list of expired domains and I have some questions..

1. How/Where does one get these lists??? I've been to snapnames.com but I don't see a means to clean up the list before looking at them.. meaning, they give you this HUGE list you must wade through and most of it is just jibberish!

2. Please explain the NP$ thing process. We donate some if we use take advantage of the information provided?? Sounds fair, but how much is typically donated?? What if you don't have but ... I think I have like $16 in total! lol

3. What's the best place to snag/backorder a name??

Hmm.. I think that's it but don't go far, I'll think of more!

1. Expired domain lists can be purchased but there also places you can get them free. Here's one: http://www.wehavethem.com/0840-4.html
that sorts teh name by traffic, listed in SE, etc.

2. I'll let someone else answer the NP question.

3. There are dozens of backorder services. Take a look at http://whois-search.com/deleting/caught.php to see which services are successful in catching the best names. Lots of other great tools there too.

When you post in certin forums you get different amounts of NP. I think all teh forums in this catogory pay 2NP. You can sell NP, usaually it will sell extreemally quick at 1.5 Cents per 1NP. You can also buy stuff for NP. You don't HAVE to donate NP for resources used but it is nice to if you have some extra NP. But if someones post was benefical (like EdwinJ's post was) then you can also leave them positive reputation. To do that click on the button that looks like a balance next to the report a bad post button.

Also - If you register a Domain from the Expired/Available Section - It is assumed that you'll donate at least 20 NP$ to the provider of the list ....
