Domain Questions

Is it usually a bad practice to have multiple domains pointing to the same site?

For example, lets say you run a Hunting forum that is called iliketohunt.com and you also own the domain weliketohunt.com, would it be incorrect to link both domains to the same site?

Also, does anyone know if there is a keyword limit on metatags? I heard that if you have too many SE will ignore. Is this true?

Also, do is Overture a good way of telling what keywords people are searching for? with that said, is it smart to use the keywords that Overture displays?

Thanks everyone for your time!!

The art of pointing multiple domains to one site is fine and can be very rewarding. Yes there are limits to keywords but they vary here to there depending on the engine/service. Overture is more or less a guideline with keywords as it helps define the value of your name with peoples interest. IMO

Ok excellent...So is there a number I should shoot for as far as keywords? Is there an industry standard, I know there is no specific number, but does anyone have a hint of how many I should use?

This may also be an odd question, however, in vbulletin, should the keywords be separated by a comma like this (keyword, keyword, etc) or like this (keyword, keyword, etc)

ServeTraffic is an unknown quantity at this point

I believe you can use as many as you like but search engines will only read like 500 or so, I could be wrong. I don't think you can be penalized for to many, just have your most important ones at the top.

Use a space after the comma in keywords.
