TheKEYWORD(s).COM vs. KEYWORD(s).com value

Hi, everyone!

I need advice from more experienced domainers than I am. I also was not able to find anything worthwhile from google search.

I am thinking about registering "theKEYWORD(s).com" domains. I did a quick analysis of available the+keywords.com domains and found out there are some available.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/548682-thekeyword-s-com-vs-keyword-s.html

Out of your experience are they worth anything if for example the search volume for the keyword(s) is high, but for the+keyword is next to nothing?

For example, I found TheBusinessTechnology.com,
TheTravelTour.comavailable.

The broad search volume in google for:
Business Technology - 500,000
Travel Tour - 700,000. And nobody regged them.

So how does "the" usually downgrade the price of domain names, if search volume for "theKEYWORD(s).com is low in comparison with just KEYWORD(s).com?

In general, for pure reselling purposes, the additional "The" prefix should be avoided IMHO.

Best of Luck.

Righto, it really depends on the individual domain's circumstances IMHO.
