Please explain in great excuciating detail what the term push means in relation to domain trading.

Hi PS

'Push' simply means that if you have an account at the same company that the name is already registered at it will be pushed (as in placed) into it.

So for example if I was selling www.grungeforum.com (which I'm not by the way) which is registered with www.enom.com to you and if you had an account with Enom I could simply 'push' the name to your account and you would be the new owner. A push is always preferable to going through the process of moving a name to another registrar. It's not a huge hassle but with a push it's done in seconds.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/52798-push-please-explain.html

Hope that helps.

- Also - "Pushes" are generally FREE to do ! - Where as "Transfers" (Moving the Domain to the registrar/register you prefer) is usually Paid for (Most charge +/- Registration fees to do this and Add another year to the registration)

PS - Like the Grunge Forum - "luxinterior" - also Saw "Pennywise" Domains - lol - ..... "All the Domains Float down here Georgie" ....

Pushes only cost normally when pushing a domain from one registrar to another

Thanks for the clarification all4cost

Glad you liked grungeforum.com and don't be too sacred of the pennywise site. Pennywise really isn't coming to get you...or is he?
