Need advice

Hi all,

Around 6 months ago, I purchased two foreign (Indonesian) .com domains.

They are

www.nilaitukar(dot)com
www.bisniskecil(dot)com

These domains, when translated are very high quality but it seems like the market has not matured yet.

They translate to: Smallbusiness.com and exchangerate.com

I parked them on Namedrive and Each month I get around 25-30 type in visits on the exchange rate domain and around 10-15 on the small business one.

Should I develop these domains into websites or not? Or are they not worth anything. Please let me know.

i'd suggest you develop them if you have the time/resources, but otherwise to at least hold onto them or sell them (i wouldn't just let them expire).

Develop them, developed site has better value than domain.

Question, what kind of site would be best to maximize value while keeping costs low? What kind of advertisements should I use? I have no idea since I've never done this. Also what are costs like in building the suggested type of website.

At an initial stage, in order to put something on the welcome page without investing too much time (assuming that you don't have a lot of time available, but you can easily host the sites), I would suggest that you insert a fee newsfeed, if there are such feeds available in Bahasa Indonesian or whatever language you would like to use. Newsfeeds would update automatically and permanently, bringing links to the latest news on the topic which you have selected, which means visitors would find some type of fresh content.

Then try to write two or three short, general, keyword-rich articles on the topic of each website. If you are not familiar enough with the topic, maybe a friend of yours is.
Regarding tools for building the website, since I am on Mac, I cannot provide useful advice.
Obviously, you will need to host the domains. There are certainly reliable hosting services available at reasonable rates in Indonesia - but I have no idea! Maybe som other NPer will know more about the local options?

time to develop them in those areas that you said regarding small business and exchange rate, you will start to mature the market, educate people thru these domains.

I can't find any news feeds in Indonesian. What about starting a forum? What is the approximate cost of that? Do you guys have any other ideas for this kind of website? Thanks.

you can start a forum for less than $5 a month for hosting with something like phpbb, smf, etc.

Develop as the'res plenty of people type-in that might not even speak english so CTR might be very low.
Developing those domains can bring You some nice SE traffic as Indonesia has huge population and those are good keywords.
