| NamePros Member | I recently had an inquiry from someone interested in purchasing one of my domains. I did a search to see what I could find out about his business. He is using "my domain name" @ hotmail. Which I suppose is all well and good however, when I typed in the domain name, it returned the threads I have posted at name pro's with questions about the domain as well as all of my other posts. I guess I don't like the idea of a potential buyer (or anyone not involved w/ name pros) being able to read my threads discussing my names. Is there any way to make them more private or to remove them all together? Thanks! |

| NamePros Regular | As far as I can tell, no, there is no way to make your threads private, however, you can go and edit information on the threads that you no longer wish to make public, but if you thread is old, more than likely, you won't be able to edit it, you may want to contact a mod and see if they can open the threads for you to make your changes. |

| Senior Member | there are certain forums here at namepros that are "hidden" from the general public, like the legal forum. afaik you can't remove them altogether, but you can always edit the posts you've made. there still might be a cache of the old/original version leaking around though. |
