Questions About PageRank

Hi,

I'm new to domaining and requires answers to the below:

1- What is a PageRank?
2- What is a good PageRank?
3- Does PageRank work for developed domains only?
4- Where can I find a good tool to check PageRank?

Any extra information about PR is appreciated.

Thanks

Just be aware that page rank is not the main thing you should work for. SERP is much more important

Not the PageRank mathers, it's tru that mathers something but not all. Iff is a HUge PageRank for exemple PR5 or PR6 and it's a crap domain like ishdagbfivbsiu.name, you don't will sell it, trust me. If the domain has good rankings in Search Engine worths mutch more.

Oh and be ware with the fake pageranks.

Pagerank doesn't mean a thing for search engine rankings. It only shows others webmasters Your linkbuiling success and it might result in nice gogole ranks but might not.
So called trustrank determines google results position.

Pagerank can be sold to people who still believe it has value (see SIG and scroll down).

Try to find links from Authority Sites on your niche. This will give you more relevance on your SE rankings.

Good Luck.

Isn't the average daily search of your domain keywords a very important factor for domain appraisal??!

Let me put it in another way, let's say you have a domain word1word2.com and the average daily search for the phrase "word1 word2" on the search engines is 500 searches.

Isn't that a good thing? I need to hear from you guys.

Yes it is important. But also think about the value of niche. For example there gazzillions searches for porn but You You got domain with webmaster keywords that are searched only few time a day according to wordtracker or OVT, this might have much higher value.
