![]() ![]() | RSS from a non blogging site? Hi there, I currently run a few websites which I am constantly adding content for - however they are not blogs. I would like to retain these visitors by getting them to subscribe to my website. I guess my question is: Do you have to have a blog to be able to use RSS? |

![]() | Try with Feedburner. 1. Burn a Feed with FB. 2. Go to "Publicize" Tab - then to "Subscription Management" There you'll find the code for your form (put this on your blog/site). 3. "Communication Preferences" lets you customize the first mail that your subscribers receive (activation). 4. When you update your feed, this will trigger a new mail to your subscribers. This will happen once a day (you can specify the time range on "Delivery Options". Good Luck My Friend. |

![]() | You're right. Well, take the previous info to stay in touch with your visitors. It works pretty well. Said that, there are different ways to create feeds without hosting them on your own site. One way is with RapidFeeds.com. Hope all this info helps you. Good Luck. |

![]() | If i understood your question... yes, you can submit your feed to directories. My advice is to submit your burned feed (with FB). (A) Hosted Feed Url >>> (B) FeedBurner Url >>> Submit This Url to Feed Dirs If (A) goes offline, (B) remains intact. All you have to do is edit (B) and enter your new Hosted Feed Url. Good Luck My Friend. ----------------------------- Thanks to those who add rep. |
