| NamePros Member | Proxy Network? Good investment? Hi All, A quick question. Is a proxy network (that makes some good money of course!) a good investment? I have only recently done more research into exactly what most proxy servers do and how they operate and while my technical jargon is a little behind most peoples these days, they dont seem to be to bad as far as 'investing' goes. They also seem to be cheaper to purchase. Some with many income streams for a god price... i just dont understand why more people dont seem to be interested in buying them? Am i missing something or is there something that is a bit dodgy about them? Thanks in advance for your clarity on this issue... just trying to figure out what proxy networks are all about and whether i should grab a good network up or not? alpha bravo global |

| NamePros Member | Yeah, i worked out that alot of schools, business and institutions are blocking them because of their fundamentals. The hosting issue is a good point, thanks for that! I didnt know that they used a lot of bandwidth. Other than those points, from my research, they dont seem to be 'bad' investments per say. Just a little risky i suppose? Like most! Thanks very much for the info! |
