![]() | host.username.com/mypage.htm - www.mydomain.com/mypage.htm ? How would one go about implementing this? At the moment my site is, say: 'besthosting.mysite.com' That becomes: 'www.username.com' at the fowarding panel of my registrar. How would the pages on the site, example 'besthosting.username.com/news.htm' become 'www.mysite.com/news.htm' ? 'besthosting.username.com/articles/123654.htm' become 'www.mysite.com/articles/123654.htm' etc. If you can clear my confusion up, that would be great. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Can you give us some real examples so we can make sure we undertand what you are saying? Generally most people have "somename.somehost.com". When they get a domain like "mydomain.com", they want their site to appear there. The way this happens is that somehost.com would have to provide you with a way to host your domain on their system, and then they would point the domain to your current site files. Or you could set up domain re-direction at your registrar. You would setup mydomain to "point" or redirect to "somename.somehost.com". Both will work, but the first is better in my opinion.
