On the other hand, if you sold it in one year for $10,000, you just made $5,000. It all depends on if you have the money, and if you can afford to possibly lose that money per annually. Remember, just because you pay a $5,000 annual registration, doesn't mean it will sell. Just think if you saw a domain name for sale, and you liked it, and want to buy it. What would you think when they told you it has a $5,000 annual registration, are you still going to buy it? If you are Google, MGM, Ford, or some big company, $5,000 per year is no big deal.
