Some questions I have about domain stuff...

I would appreciate the help of anyone who can help me out with answering these questions:

1. Is the only way to find available domains to search on websites like godaddy.com for availability?
2. Is there anywhere I can find all of the available LLLL.com combinations? Or does this not exist?
3. Is it possible to find LL.com and LLL.com domains now, or are they all taken/on backorder?

I've been looking manually, and I wanted to ask these questions before I spend anymore hours donig this, haha... Thanks in advance!

No, you can use a scanner.

oh, and what is a scanner?

is there somewhere you can enter in all of that information at once, and you can find out which domains are available?

up lists with, also using multiple TLD's
You will find a free scanner
here
You can scan about 3000 at a time

Another scanner that is out there (paid) is avensen. I like it a bit, but I didnt buy it up until about 2 months ago, and ive been doing business online for several years. So its not entirely necessary, but something you should keep in the back of your head.
