![]() | I'm waaaay new to this too, I've learned alot just browsing threads and asking lots of questions. And making lots of notes. It seems like some of the best lessons will be learned thru time & experience. There is so much more to this then I could have imagined- but it's exciting. Have fun! |

![]() ![]() | Look for domains in which there is a demand for. Look at expiring domain names to see if any good ones are dropping (but make sure you do a background check before you buy) and READ READ READ I wish I had done that more before i entered the industry. You learn from your mistakes I guess |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Look at some of the sales threads on the forums. You can pick up some good bargains as these are usually at reseller prices or below! Take a look at some of the auctions already running at Tdnam and Sedo, you may pick up a bargain there if you are lucky. There is also 'pushtoauction.com' which has lots of good domains that you can send to auction at sedo for a $60 bid. Although this does not guarantee that you will get it for $60 you are not obligated to make any other bids and if there are no other bidders then you will pick it up for your initial bid of $60. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | There's a domain for every job title, hobby, person, verb and anything in and out of the dictionary. Figure out what it is you know best and make that your first domain-level interest. If you don't really have a specific field you can focus on at first, look into the LLLL.com threads and learn about 4-letter domains and their values. Feel free to be enthusiastic when reading and writing. But don't be overly enthusiastic with your cash! |

![]() | Don't forget to add a little site development skills to the mix. You may not need much, but you will probably want to put up a page or two at some point. Good luck
