very high Google search volume?

A bit confused about this I have found a search term that is searched for on Google 11.1 million times per month. The term is made up of two words that are connected eg ice snow, but they dont appear to be what I would consider a valid search term eg ice snow.

Is the search volume for the actual term listed or is it taking the two words on an individual basis?

What are the two words (you can PM if youd like) Anything getting that many searches is a pretty popular term, but I would like to double check your findings.

There is an option in the keyword tool where you can modify your results. I'm guessing you're doing a "broad" search for your keywords. Try the "exact" search if you're not already.

When you do as witness said, "exact" I see 390 search in June and average of 320. Even if I use the broad search term, it does not return any where near 11.1 million.

You are leaving a gap between flat house aren't you, and using UK results. Still get 11.1 million avg per month and 2.7 million for July. In addition the .com version of this went years ago, and houseflat .com and co.uk are also sold.

Using: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
And entering: flat house
I get: 18,100 avg search volume
If I select: "Exact match" from the drop down, I get:
320 avg search volume for [flat house]

The meaning I take from "flat house" is people searching for a flat which is part of a house, not in a block of flats.

Did you put "" around your search term? "webhosting" and webhosting entered in google can give different results.
