Hi Sandesh,
Without developing it, the best way in my opinion would be to park it. Try www.sedo.co.uk and you can park your domain there. Set your nameservers on your domain to ns1.sedoparking.com and ns2.sedoparking.com. Thats way you can have links on your site similar to affiliates and you can earn money per click. Sedo will also give you info on what your monthly traffic is and what your earnings are.
However it has to be noted that if your domain is not highly valuable or a very well searched term in search engines then it will be a lot harder to get traffic, especially when undeveloped. Good luck anyway

95% of the time, traffic is not just going to come out of thin air, unless the name you bought is a typo or something very popular. In any event, your best best is to develop the site, and when I say develop, I do not mean that you have to get an amazing design for hundreds of dollars. Simply a site with good content will help you with SERP's, and if you have $10-$20 to invest in things like google adwords or other PPC programs, that will get you decent traffic.
Also note that using Np incentives and paying for things like Stumbles and Social Bookmarks (like Delicious, furl, etc.) will also get you decent traffic.
First you should develope a site and your first opportunity should be to add more and more stuff in your site. You should invest your money in getting the site disk space and bandwidth. Your site will automatically come in the google search engine rankings. Google will give you the traffic. You do not need to invest in any advertisement system
You are right, but also wrong. I own the proxy forum (proxy forums [dot] org) the search engines are on me all the time, and I do not have to spend a dime on advertising. However for another one of my sites (moosix [dot] net) I must spend money on advertising, because moosix is not really a keyword term.
So it comes down to whether or not your domain is keyword specific or not.
If you can rank highly on google for a few keywords then you will get constant traffic. Some other good suggestions have been social bookmarking sites, along with stumble and digg. You can always look at buying a domain that receives 'type-in' traffic..but these are almost non-existent due to all the people registering them already..but who knows?
Your going to find most type in names on the resale market. Although their are many typos still available for purchase. I know because I got a few the other day
