| If I were you, I would choose a short brandable domainname, and use these names as secondary domainnames pointing to the brandable name.
And ofcourse seo optimizing the brandable name.
Good luck, |

| Just the domain is not going to get you a top listing, unless there is little or no compitition. An optimized domain name will "help", but how the site is optimized is a bigger factor.
But, to answer your question for "Watch seriesname online", I'm not sure it makes any difference to speak of. If anything, the domain without hyphens should do a little better.
In general domains without hyphens are better, but the ones with hyphens will work also and do have one advantage over the ones without hyphens:
A search for "seriesname online" will not match the domain "Watchseriesnameonline" but it will have a chance to match "Watch-seriesname-online".
Since your site will target a specific show, I don't think it's so bad to have a longer domain name. I would use the Google Traffic Estimator to find out what the most popular seraches are for the show. Then I would see what domains are free that best match one of those phrases. You may find something like "free seriesname videos" or ""seriesname videos". :-)
Good Luck!

If you were to choose out of the two you mentioned, it would depend on personal preferences. With the hyphen you would rank better in SEO as spiders will be able to identify the keywords so ++.. but remember users dont like typing long addresses into the browser and are not used to hyphens in domains either. |
