| The answer is largely an issue of keyword nexus and intended use. The .Pro resale market has been relatively soft to date, but is likely to improve with the Registry's expansion on July 14, 2008. However, if your intent is to develop a .Pro website, acquiring a relevant .Pro keyword domain will tend to offer a distinct SEO advantage over other gtld's where comparable keyword domains are too expensive and/or otherwise unavailable.

· #4 | | NamePros Regular | If .pro reg fees were cut by 80%-90% it might be regarded on a par with .biz in the medium term. .biz would still have a 5-6 year headstart but .pro sounds better so it could make up some ground.
I don't think it will by vying with .net or .org for popularity anytime soon whatever happens. Domainers considering regging a .pro for $99 should look back at the .pro's listed for sale on NamePro to get a feel for the aftermarket. Unless you have super premium keywords or you put in a lot of effort marketing, it's virtually non-existent.
