Question My domain accepted to Sedo Top Domains and GreatDomains.com...Now What?
Hi...

I just saw in my sedo account,that one of my domains got accepted for TopDomain listing and inclusion to GreatDomains.com.

I really wonder what this practically means.

1)Will my domain appear in TOP DOMAINS on Sedo's Homepage?

2)Does this really help you to sell your name faster and/or achieve a higher price?

3)Does really Sedo try to sell those names as it states on the GreatDomains and Sedo FAQ?

4)Is there anything i could do,that together with the listing in topdomains could help me sell my domain (eg Featured or Category showcase etc...)?

I'd like to read your opinions if you have any past experience.

I think it means your domain will be up for auction among other premium domains
in the upcoming auction...Your domain will be in good company.

Care to share what the domain name is?

PS/ I have no experience with that auction.

I'm really curious...how much traffic were you receiving.

Yes, your domain will be listed at GreatDomains & Sedo Top Domains.

If your domain got accepted for "Sedo Top Domains" or "GreatDomains" doesn't mean your domain will be in GreatDomains Auction. You should apply for "Premium Auction" thru your Sedo account first. You have a good chance to be accepted for the auction.


PS: June GreatDomains auction will start after 2 days (Thursday)

I was pretty excited to have a domain accepted to the Sedo premium auction last month but was disappointed with the lack of activity and sale price. If I could make one suggestion if would be to set a reserve that you can live with and if that means they don't take your listing, so be it.

It was a domain i recently added here for an appraisal.
