.asia domain registrations

I would like to register an .asia domain , I have a good ideea in mind that is not yet taken, but it asks me to fill some info , registration country , passport number etc. There is no way I could register an .asia domain if I am from europe ?

And one more question , this is really wierd , the domain tld for the state Tuvalu is TV .. as www.domain.tv , I found a lot of good extensions on this domain but isnt there a generic tld : TV ? ? I'm confused.

Regarding .tv, very short explained the company Verisign bought the right to .tv and they are administrating it.

There are very different opinions on the extension .tv, but my personal opinion is that it is a very nice extension worth investing in.

The things is that i found a great domain name , with the tld TV , but it actually is allready registered

What is important to remember is, when you have registered, dont said it "aloud" yet, until you can see in www.who.is or www.whois.sc your information. Because when you have paid and registered the domain at some registrar, there is an administrating time you have to think at, it takes some time before the domain actually is registered, so until you can see your own informations at the links I gave you above, or some other whois site, you are not 100% sure to have the domain.

You can risk that others also registers the domain you thought you had registered, because of the administrating time.
