Adwords vs. Parking

If I write one page of content for a domain and have an AdSense account is it likely to make more money than if the same domain is parked. For the purpose of this question I assume that AdSense will provide a reasonable volume of ads and that I know basic SEO.

Sorry to as I am sure this must have been discussed in detail, i just cant find the thread

If you have ad Adsense, I think this will be more profitable as you can promote your site, get more backlinks.

I am also new to these things, I think Adsense will be better than Parking.

Also I think in parking, its nothing you can do with your web page but if you start some sort of blog with well written article and run adsense to it. It is more better.

I want to see other members posting their thoughts about this..

Thanks

Adwords are indeed better from plain parking for the basic reason that you keep your share and you don't split it with the parking company
Parking is usually for people who don't have time or have a big portfolio and they drop them for parking

I've moved 75% of my domains from parked on to websites. The results are exceptionally better after just a little promotion through article marketing etc (all free methods).
Parking is ok for domains you haven't got around to developing but for me, its just back up money.

Another reason websites are the way to go is the website is your domain can gain age in search engines and will move up as time goes on. Make sure you have the right title tags.
