Finding an Enduser

I was just wondering,
How do you guys go about finding an end user. I have emailed some companies asking if they are interested in some domains related to their industry, but never get replies. What do you do to find an end user and how long does it normally take?

Thanks.

Can take a looong while sometimes, with a LOT of consistent contacts, the sending of customized marketing letters, then E-mail -and- phone call follow-ups, IMHO.
Typically, great potential End user "leads" can be located at Google (to start) ... try typing in your domain first without the extension, and then separate the words (if more than one) and search for the combined terms "within quotes".
Be creative ... check trade organizations, magazines and forums associated with your domain, check locally ... keep your eyes and ears peeled.

Most importantly, never stop ... consistent day-in-day-out marketings to relevant End users.
PS. Not getting replies, at least initially, is very commonplace, move on to the next one (potential End user lead) a.s.a.p.
All the best!
-Jeff

Do you send them emails with prices initially? What do you usually write in your emails to possible end users?

May be your emails get into their junk folder?
It is always best to call them and talk on phone if possible

No, I do not mention any prices in my initial emails, I just state that I have the domain and it looks like they may be interested in it as its in their industry. More or less..

In addition to the potential leads mentioned by Jeff, another good strategy is to target advertisers who use your domain keywords.

Sources for these leads include Overture paid listings and Google ads.

All the best!

Also - if you do mention a price in your Emails - Double your asking Price -

Leaving room for bartering sometimes helps ... Although I prefer to see What range they like first ~
