EBAY Auction Problems

Hi
I am new to ebay auctions and i am not sure how they work..
If i set my domains for sale over there, then at the end of the auction do i have to sell it even if the offer is way less than what was expected??

Say i put www.xyz.com for sale and i put an Opening Bid of $1(and no reserve)
and auction is for 7 days, say if only one person bids and he puts say $2 as his bid..
DO i have to sell it to him at $2 then????

Please help
Thank you

i am pretty sure if there is no reserve set then you do have to accept the end bid.

You have to sell. But do not worry, it won't end with $2 for xyz.com

btw - if you've even gone to www.xyz.com when it was up before - all I got to say is the guy who owns that is in desperate need of a personality.

This is the point of putting a reserve on it. If your reserve is not met when the auction ends there is no sale. But if you list it for $1 and the only bid is $1, you have to sell it for $1.

Obviously xyz.com was just a sample.
Ethically.. yes you have to honour it.

But you can always walk away from it telling some.. any excuse *winks*

worddomains is an unknown quantity at this point

If you dont put a reserve on it and it sells for anything and you dont sell it ebay will suspend you. Read the TOS Terms Of Service when you sign up. This is why they make a reserve feature.

I actually asked him, if he wants to sell it few years ago. Because I love City Hunter - Ryo Saeba...
