| NamePros ±SuperElite± Forum Moderator | They really called you? First time I heard the proactive side of PayPal, usually they never care. I have made $5k transactions, but never got any questions asked. Not necessary to tell the seller as long as you know him/her. Good luck!

| NamePros Regular | I get sometimes calls for the transactions go over a certain amount. That said I get calls from the credit card company even before Paypal ever does. At least they try to verify your purchases and even if it is sometimes a hassle being called up in the middle of the night (probably due to time zone differences), I still value services that ensure that you are the one who actually made the transaction.

| NamePros Expert | I have gotten calls too over the years. Standard procedure. Paypal isn't the irresponsible company a few bad apples make it out to be.

| New Member | Well they certainly can't pick-out all the big transactions that goes on everyday out there but maybe they're doing random checking of transactions... you know maybe sort a random search in the airport for security purposes. Or maybe it has something to do with your type of account that's why it got flagged...I'm just speculating ofcourse. |
