scraping whois contacts/Potential end user

Say I have a domain of interest to the widget industry

I can easily find domains related to widgets but can/how can I find the whois contact to approach them to buy mine?

Is there some software or a utility around?

Exporting to excel would be neat

I wouldn't use the WHOIS information, I would just go to the web site and either get a email there, or use their contact form to send them a message. Using their contact form removes the chance of them reporting you as a spammer, if you are going to bulk email them.

It may be more work, but it will allow you to mention something about their site in each message and make it more personal and improve your chances of being taken seriously.
