DomainSite

I have domains with one registrar, but I want to try another. What do you think about Domainsite.com ? Ofcourse I have read information on
http://www.namepros.com/registerindex.php?detail=28

But I wonder what your opinion is. Thanks.

they're okay and i've never had any problems myself, but they wouldn't be my "second choice" if i was trying out another registrar. actually, i first got a domainsite account because a domain i received was being pushed in there.

Domainsite.com is quite good. $6.99 for the first year, $7.99 after that for the main TLDs. I don't like their interface much, no domain catagories for example, no configring domains on bulk order/tranfers. But they are cheap and have pretty good support.

My other favorite registrar is NameCheap.com. I like their interface much better. They have a domain marketplace build in (10% of sales price), and good customer support.

Namecheap > the price for com is $9.29/yr. Is it worth. Do they have bulk prices, and how many domains should I register to get a better price, and how much does one year fee cost then.

If I would like to use their marketplace, should I transfer a domain to Namecheap. Have you sold any domains on this marketplace. How do they look if you compare to the BuyDomains or Godaddy marketplace.

Thank you for all your answers, they are helpful.

If you are sensitive to cost, then you may want to use someone else. If you have 50 domains I think you can take about $0.50 off that cost for most domains, but not all.

I don't think I would transfer to NC to use their marketplace, you can sell your domain here for free. If you transfer it you will have to pay for a year's registration. Also, the most you can charge for your domain at NC is $250. You can't list it for a higher price.

I have sold a few domains in the NameCheap market place, but I have bought more than I have sold. The prices are mostly wholesale, so you aren't going to get as much there as you will someplace like here. I have not troed the other places you mention to sell domains.

If you are going to have a quantity of domains, the category feature and ease of use may make NameCheap worth it. If not, then I would go with DS. Their interface is not as easy to use (for me), but their low prices are great. I should mention that the $6.99 price is a "basic" registration and does not include domain forwarding and email. If you are hosting a web site or parking you don't need that anyway.
