Shortening Question

I was wondering if instead of buying, say, extremegamers.com , you bought xtremegamers.com, would it depleat its values and memorability? Also, what about 'z' instead of 's', like gamerz as opposed to gamers. Always wondered this

The way I see it, if you like gamerz better than gamers, why not get both? You can develop gamerz, and anyone who types in 'gamers' can be redirected to your gamerz site.

Pretty much what Yahoo.com has done. If you spelt it as Yahu.com you end up at Yahoo.

I would think a quick way to find out would be to use a keyword search on goto or google adwords.

If "gamerz" has the same amount of monthly searches as "gamers", than you would be good to go, right?

Just a thought.
