I have newbie question .
When I login in namecheap, it redirects to

, however , when I login in godaddy, it jumps to

Quote:

https://www.godaddy.com

What is the difference between that?

If you visit "https:", secure connection is built.
It uses different socket, compared with common "http".

When information is sent across the internet,your ISP can view the information if you are using http.
But is it is https then your ISP will only see some encrypted data.

You could always bookmark and use "https://www.namecheap.com" just to make sure you are always "secure".
