when to develop?

Picked up a .info the other day because of the backlinks (6,836 on yahoo, 600 ish on google)

150 hits on sedo since last week alone but no clicks

Trouble is - it was a general forum (in turkish). I don't speak turkish or know anyone that does..

should I develop
a) at all - (remember no clicks)
b) As an english forum
c) As a Turkish forum - seek out a turkish speaker and go as a JV?

useful suggestions???

Here is my opinion...park it somewhere and leave it for now and monitor the traffic over a few months. Yahoo Site Explorer shows a total of 6,250 pages indexed which is a decent amount. The problem is though you have no idea where any of those pages place in the serps because there are no analytics available for parked pages to perform keyword research from.

It looks like it was basically a forum for people of turkey. Pretty much a general forum as you had said. If it is getting 150 hits then i would try to monetize it. I would make it have a turkish geo keyword for sure. Some thing that turkish people would want to find. Obviously you need the page to be turkish otherwise they will not know whats on the screen and close it out, which is obviously happening. As far as development goes i would not go there unless you know turkish or you are really in to what you want to do with the site. I think you should try to get some money out of clicks before you develop it. IMO

cheers guys - I have parked & optimised for turkish and may put up an english blog in a while. A turkish forum is a no-no...

Use Adbie script (or similar) to catch the traffic from strange keywords (that come from the engines) and cloak those pages redirecting with stealth forward to a parking company that admits url forwarding (like NameDrive).
