| Senior Member | contacting a company about a domain Hey everyone. I have a pretty good name that gets alright traffic. I was checking some of the other extensions and noticed a company in Europe has bought the .eu, .biz, and .mobi. I am considering contacting them since I own the .info but was curious what the best way to approach them would be. They are a web hosting/web technology company. Any thoughts on a good sample email? |

| Senior Member | My only concern is if the domain is also their company name. They might decided to try and take it from you if you are asking what they think is "too much" for the domain. I have been reading about legal advice on this kind of thing, and an offer to sell could be seen as "bad faith" if you have no real right to the domain in question. If it's a generic domain that could be use by anyone then there should be no problem.
