I have 5 domain names and I would like to know how to advertise them in the marketplace section.

To sell a domain? My advice would be to post them for sale either here or on ebay.

I think he/she means how to list them for sale here on NP. Just post the name in the marketplace under auction (fixed or other) just like you posted that question. Read the rules and include the exp dates and auction end time.

google adword is an advertising system set up by google for website owners to bid on keywords. Then when your keyword is searched, your ad that you create, will show up in the google search. It has ups and downs:

The ups, google makes billions

The downs, it totally and completely destroys their credibility & reputation as a great search engine, since now anyone with a dollar can post a total piece of crap website right at the top of google. It really hurts those of us that have wasted thousands of hours doing search engine optimization to get our site at the top the legit way. I am boycotting on that principle alone.... I guess bribes, not hard work, are what makes the world go round. Thanks google, for showing me the light.
