Alexa Rank 300?

I am owner of AfterGrease.com ... an old tv series.

I bought it a couple of months back and thought i would check it out on Estibot... it says it has 3,000,000 uniques a day but the alexa is from tripod.com...

What does this mean? It gets traffic but more like 30 than 3 million

I'm guessing it forwards to Tripod, Alexa then gets the domain its hosted on, which is Tripod. And Tripod's alexa is high.

Have you checked Archive.org to see it's history? Alexa may not have updated yet when you obtained it.

On Estibot there is the link "CLICK TO VERIFY" next to "valuation considering traffic". Click that and estibot should tell you what's up with it.

It's very important to always click that verification link, and even if the traffic checks out, get independent, like bomb proof, verification of traffic before making any decisions.

The domain was probably forwarded to tripod.com in the past.

Thanks for the replies, i'm guessing its a glitch with Alexa because i checked when i purchased the domain and i would have remembered if the Alexa shows that.

I always check to verify, ever since i made a mistake and purchased a domain and i forgot to verify

A general question if you don't mind me asking, is the traffic ranks shown in Estibot.com entirely based on Alexa rank? Or do you have another way of calculating?
