The O's

Hey guys, kinda new here so forgive the ignorance. I've looked around for info on this but couldn't find anything..

I know the reason why people have bought all the good names with an "e" and/or and "i" before them (such as iCasino or eMortgage or what have you), but what is the reasoning behind people buying names that start with "o"? Such as oCraps or oCosmetics etc?

It is shorten for open, such as "e" is for electronic. I is just from that "ipod" craze.. Never stopped . Just how pimp is now used as a stylish word.

There might be later on. The web is evolving and becoming more open. You might see some nice sells with open+keyword.com and o+keyword.com.. I have yet to see any developed sites, using this method.

I was thinking maybe that it means Online, i.e. oSales would be OnlineSales.
I see "u" used a lot lately too. I wonder what that one is for

Well I guess its just because its an vowel. I have seen a lot of domains starting with a, e, i, and even u. So i guess the only one left out is the o

You know what nem0, you might just have hit upon an untapped market.

But its a risky play. One or two, go for it, if your whole portfolio is made of them, be very careful.
