worth domain

Hey,

Like you may notice at my postcount I'm totally new.
But before I registered I Made some research and found out that the price of a domain can vary all the time. I also found out how LLLL.coms works (i mean why they are popular).
But what I havent found out at all is how to price your own domain.
I know a domain should be easy to remember or it should have conatin some good keywords. But I suppose you cant say that word is 50$ worth.

So if anyone could help me start? For example one of my domain names is "cgedits.com" (cg = computer graphics) NOT cgedit !!! I dont made any site for it yet.

But how much you think this is worth now? And what are the possibilities to make it popular? Should I keep it and devellop?

where is two way to apprise your domain.
1. way is to look on domain keywords, how popular are they, are people using for example "cg edits" keywords in their everyday life, or in their business, etc. if you will look into the google stats for "cg edits" or for "cgedits" you will see, that keywords are not popular at all. This should mean to you, that this domain without any development worth nothing. This kind of domain have to be developed, have to make a monthly income, and based on this income you can judge how much it worth. It would be a different story, if keywords would be popular, common, because in that case domain would not need much development to produce a natural traffic.
2 way to appraise cgedits.com would be appraisal based on typo domain appraising. because letter G in cGedits stands almost near letter R on keyboard, and word "cRedits" is premium keyword, your domain could be considered as a typo of credits.com, just there are some IF: If you are having a natural type in traffic on your domain from people who was going to visit credits.com, but accidentally arrived to you, if your domain is parked and people click on links relevant to "credits" on your landing page, than the price of your domain would be calculated based on about 8-12 x your monthly income from that clicks.

Its of great help even... I never thought typo domain would also be a factor of judging domains. I'll keep this domain to myself for a couple of years then .
But doesnt the META also affect your keywords and domain?

Also look for comparable reported sales in sources like dnsaleprice, namebio and dnjournal.
