Sedo domain question

So I bought a domain with a registrar off the link from sedo, 1&1. But to sell on Sedo does it have to be with 1&1? How do I park a domain with them and does it cost any money (I don't think it does, but I have no idea how to park with them.) I have domains with godaddy but their fresh, do I have to transfer them somewhere on a hosting account so I can park with sedo? Mainly speaking because I'm not up to paying a 50$ comission fee.

You can park any domains to sedo dont matter who the registrar is.

Your godaddy domain can go on sedo just point them to sedo. Im not sure how as I only use 1&1.com sorry.

Good luck

To sell on sedo, you can have your domain registered with any registrars. All you have to do is create a sedo account, free. parking is also free on sedo.

if your domains are registered at 1&1, click on the domain name, and set the name servers to direct to sedo i.e

ns1.sedoparking.com
ns2.sedoparking.com

go to sedo, log in, and click on add domains, add your keywords, and you're all set to go!.

good luck.

One more problem, how do you set a fixed price? I typed FP into the minimum offers but nothing happens and when I search for my domain name like I don't see anything that says for sale, only already registered and an option to acquire it for me. Does it take some time for changes to be applied? What could I be doing wrong?

there is also one more thing. you will be able to actually sell your domain via sedo, if it is more than 60 days old.

The ICANN policy only refers to domain transfers which arn't a problem with selling at the moment.

When you list your domains on sedo, one of the drop down menu's will ask you whether your domain is for sale or not, if you do not say for sale, there is a possibility that it might not show up when searching for it.

The other possibility is that it takes about 1-2 days for the sedo team to review the keywords you have chosen and for them to review whether the domain is registered to you, so until those parameters are met, there is a possibility that your domain might not show up when searching for it.

No I'm positive I checked off the box that said have this domain for sale at sedo or something along the lines of that. When searching my domains does come up, just not for sale. But I think you may have something on the second point. I sent a support ticket to them anyway.
